Get excited, IT’S RECITAL WEEK!!! 🥳
The count down is on, so time to start checking off your prep list! Save yourself a stop on the way while supporting your teachers!! Pick up flowers and sweet treats at the show!! Cookies are baked by our very own Miss Natalie and her Ooh La La Bakery. Floral bouquets all arranged by our Director Miss Serena with the help of her Mama.

All proceeds go directly back to our teacher’s expense fund. This helps cover any out of pocket travel costs for Summer Nationals trips, masterclass expenses etc.

Happy Sunday, DeNoyer Dance! We are fresh off a long night celebrating the end of our season with our D.O.T Lock-in and ready to keep the party going! So what better way than to honor another special Senior,

This sweet girl has grown up in front of our eyes from a tiny dancer taking her first tap steps to the beautiful woman she is today. After graduation, Lily will be attending St. Louis Community College to major in chemistry and minor in psychology on the pre-dental track. While here at the studio some of Lily’s favorites
Include her tap group “mambo number five” by Ms. Jackie and our 2021 trip to Myrtle Beach for Nationals.

From Lily- “Dancing has helped me gain more confidence and made me realize, to Just do what you love and don’t let other people make you feel too scared to try. Don’t let your fear of messing up stop you from trying.”

We have been so lucky to have Lily here at the studio all these years and will definitely miss having her around next year. Just don’t forget that you will always have a home at DeNoyer! Come back and visit! Congratulations, Lily! 🎉 Keep on making us proud!

It’s the last weekend before recital & we’ve got 3 more Seniors to celebrate! So we are kicking this weekend off with Senior Saturday!!! Today we are celebrating the always entertaining,

Anna joined our D.O.T team as a hip hopper & by Senior year was competing in every style! From hip hop to tap & everything in between, this girl is a Rockstar! But where this actor in training really shines, is Musical Theatre! 🎭 So it’s no shock that after graduation she will be attending Webster University to major in music education with a choral emphasis. 🎤
Anna says her favorite classes are hiphop, pointe, & musical theater. All time favorite dance was Miss Tia & Jessica’s “That Dance” hiphop line & this years senior contemporary “Everlasting Sigh” by the one and only Marcus Johnson. 💜 She says her favorite studio memory was being the last senior pulling the all nighter at the lock in last year, playing board games all night with the teachers! 😄

From Anna:
“Dance is an incredibly special thing. It provides a space where you can be vulnerable and open while being surrounded by others who understand you. A shared experience like this is very hard to come by outside of a studio, so embrace it while you can. Get into as many classes as possible, try every style, and take every correction to heart. We also need to remember to respect our teachers. They were once students, too—students who loved dance so much that they decided to come back to the studio and share that love and passion with you. So clap at the end of every class, ask questions, pay attention when you’re being instructed, and bring your all every day. Someday you’ll be wishing for those days back—even the ones where the last thing you wanted to do was go full out, or do that conditioning or that drill. The years will fly past you if you let them, so stay in the moment and remember why you love to dance.” I think that really says it all. 🥲

It has been a pleasure having Anna at the studio & we couldn’t be more proud of her for giving it her all. I think it’s safe to say we will probably be seeing this girl in lights for years to come! Congrats, Anna! Today we celebrate you! 💜 🎉 👩🏻‍🎓
