Dynamic Edge is a school where children & adults can train for Self-Defense and fitness in a positive atmosphere. Dynamic Edge includes a wide variety of training options and methods including: Kickboxing and self-defense striking, grappling and traditional weapons. Because we have a core curriculum that is expanded upon with special classes and events a student can get in great shape, learn self-

protection and take additional classes in areas of their interest that allow them to explore other areas of the arts in one school. Weapons: staff, sword, and spear, single and double stick, and tactical weapons: impact striking weapons and knife. Our influences are Kenpo, Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Escrima, Kali, Chuan Fa, Hung Gar Kungfu, reality based defense drills, Akido, and boxing to name a few. Dynamic Edge is about experiencing a wide variety of methods to find the common master key concepts that empower the individual to develop their own style/skill set. Dynamic Edge isn't a style it's a system for combining martial arts movements with the study of motion, physical conditioning and the philosophy of becoming a Peaceful Warrior. Sturgess began training in martial arts in 1986. He teaches children adults, and is now a certified personal trainer. In addition to teaching he is also an active student, practicing new and better ways to learn and teach. We emphasize developing strong fundamentals from Kickboxing, Kenpo, Jiu Jitsu, and Judo and Escrima because these arts overlap and intersect we explore an expansive spectrum of martial arts training. Dynamic Edge has a dedicated team of Black Belt instructors that strive to bring their students a positive experience while challenging their mind and improving their skills!

Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, packed schedules, endless support, and for always being your child’s biggest cheerleader. From tying belts and fixing uniforms to sitting through classes, tournaments, and testing days, you do it all with love and dedication.

Your encouragement helps build strong, confident martial artists both on and off the mat, and we are so grateful to have such amazing moms as part of our dojo family.
