Before Missouri State kicks off the season against Texas A&M, Bear Nation is getting together to start the weekend.

This Friday, the Bears Football Kickoff President’s Reception takes over Messina Hof Winery & Resort in Bryan, just down the road from College Station. The 40th Annual Sneaker Soirée celebrated four decades of generosity while looking ahead to an exciting future. From the announcement that football great Dennis Heim's jersey will be retired to honoring legendary Athletics Director Bill Rowe for nearly seven decades of service to Missouri State, it was an evening filled with moments we'll never forget.
