We held a "Telescopes 101" class at The Library Center In Springfield on Wednesday evening October 28, 2026 with an observing session afterword. We had a good turnout, and were able to provide hands on demonstrations, answer questions, and give advice on buying a telescope and getting started in astronomy. The hands on format was very successful and seemed to be quite popular.

A nice video from Century Elementary PTO of their Astronomy Night event that we attended Sunday night. We had 8-10 scopes ranging from small refractors to big reflectors to SCT's to smart scopes. It was a really fun evening with about 130 very interested kids and parents.
