What a week it has been!

I haven’t been posting much this week as we’ve been busy getting ready for the Quilt Show and wrapping up our last Sew Crafty Makers session before our break for the summer ✨✨

Today was a big day in the classroom as our young makers put the finishing touches on their quilts tops. Watching these kids grow in confidence, learn new skills, and create something they can be proud of is one of the best parts of what we do.

From choosing fabrics and learning accurate seam allowances to piecing blocks together, they have worked so hard to reach this point. We couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them.

Happy Friday ✨

It has been a whirlwind of a week here at Shawn’s Sewing Center and in The Classroom @ Shawn’s!

This week we've helped customers find their next creative project, serviced machines, welcomed new machine owners, cut what feels like miles of fabric, and spent time teaching and inspiring makers of all skill levels.

From the sales floor to the service department and from the classroom to the cutting table, it has been one busy week—and we wouldn't have it any other way.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, took a class, dropped off a machine, picked out fabric, shared a project, or simply came in to visit. Your support keeps our creative community thriving.

Happy Wednesday from The Classroom @ Shawn’s ✨

Yesterday was our Spring Fever BOM with Donna, and the classroom was full of beautiful fabrics, careful cutting, and creative fun. We love seeing everyone’s blocks come together a little more each month. 🌸

Today we are getting ready for Bag Makers Monthly with Lorena. Patterns are ready, irons are warming up, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing bags that will be taking shape this afternoon! 👜✂️

There is never a dull moment around here — just good fabric, good people, and plenty of creativity happening at Shawn’s Sewing Center.

It was such a fun and busy weekend seeing everyone in the shop, chatting projects, and helping you find new inspiration. Thank you for supporting local and choosing to shop small with us. ❤️
