🎉🐉 Celebrating 10 Years of Fighting Dragon Tae Kwon Do! 🐉🎉
On September 7, 2016, what began as a small extension program at the Moriah Davis School of the Arts grew into an independent school built on traditional Tae Kwon Do, joint locks, pressure points, weapons, fighting tactics, and real‑world self‑defense.
In 2017, we became Fighting Dragon Tae Kwon Do, choosing the dragon for its symbolism of benevolence, authority, and protection — and because Master Bezoni was born in the Year of the Dragon 🐉🔥.
Over the past decade, more than 100 students have stepped through our doors as we’ve grown into a locally, regionally, and nationally recognized school, earning honors such as:
🏅 Charter School – IMAC
🏅 Charter School – TKA
🏅 Tae Kwon Do School of the Year (2023) – USMA Hall of Fame
Our guiding philosophy has always been: ✨ Be The Example.
We train strong martial artists — and strong people.
In 2024, Master Thomas Meehan joined our leadership, expanding our reach and strengthening our partnerships with IMAC, USMA HoF, TKA, and Chunjido International. These connections give our students access to world‑class Masters and Grandmasters across multiple disciplines.
Many independent schools close within five years. We’ve made it ten because of one thing: ❤️ We are a family. We grow together, learn together, celebrate together, and lift each other up. At Fighting Dragon, you’re never just another face in the crowd.
