🔥 Huge shoutout to our 6th Grade Week 1 MVP of the Week – Amari Smith! 🔥

Amari came to PLAY in our Week 1 matchup against Mt. Spokane! Whether it was offense or defense, #11 found a way to make his presence felt when his team needed him most.

🏈 Offensively, Amari came up with some HUGE catches, but none bigger than one of the defining plays of the game. Facing 3rd & 15, Amari went up over multiple defenders and came down with the football for a huge gain! That’s the type of play that takes confidence, toughness, and a willingness to go get the ball when your number is called. BIG-TIME PLAYERS MAKE BIG-TIME PLAYS! 💪🔥

🛡️ Defensively, Amari brought that same energy—making plays, competing every snap, and helping our defense get the job done.

But what really stands out about Amari goes beyond the highlights. He has continued to lead by example. He competes, handles his business, and lets his effort do the talking. When the moment got big, Amari stepped up and delivered.

His impact on both sides of the football played an instrumental role in helping the Highlanders come away with the Week 1 victory over Mt. Spokane! ⚔️
