Apparently nobody told Gordysseus.

Years of functional training at Stoic made stringing a mythical bow look like just another warm-up.

Train for real life. Because you never know when you’ll have to string a legendary bow... or reclaim your kingdom.

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Halloween Fundraiser Party! This year, we are coming together to support Brooke and Quenton Mortimer and their daughter, Scottie.

Recently, Scottie was diagnosed with an extremely rare mitochondrial disease called PARS2, a condition that prevents her cells from fully producing the energy they need. There have only been twelve reported cases worldwide—only two children are living—and Scottie is the first case doctors at Primary Children’s Hospital have ever seen.

There is no cure, and while treatment options are limited, the Mortimer family is doing everything they can to care for their brave little girl as she faces countless tests and medical appointments. The financial burden of ongoing medical bills is significant, and we want to rally around them with love and support.

❌Abdominal Hernia= protrusion of internal organs pushing through a weak part of the abdominal wall. Common in heavy weight lifters from too much pressure and improper breathing/bracing.

❌Diastasis Recti= abdominal separation due to stretched/weakened/thinning linea alba (tissue that holds our six pack layer together). Most common from pregnancy, obesity or too much intra-ab pressure during incorrect engagement/breath-work when lifting.

Diastasis Recti can cause back pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, and improper ab aesthetics but can be healed through physical therapy and proper training.💪🏼

Abdominal Hernias can cause pain and improper ab aesthetics and typically need to be fixed through surgical efforts.🏥
