We are SOO excited to add this amazing class to our summer schedule!!!!! :)

These two ladies are top notch instructors and I am thrilled to have them bring their talents to our space.

My favorite part??? This class is open to EVERYONE! F.I.T. Crew, you will find this in the app and can book there. Community members, come on in and join for the drop in rate.

We are looking forward to a fun, adventurous summer and hope to see you on the mat soon!!

Small Step on a Monday!!! :) Do what works for you!

It is ever loving hot and yes, that is soup for my breakfast.

Steps that move you forward, no matter how they look or even work for others, are what you need.

This meal is: light, easy to make, protein dense and has oodles of veg. Best part is, I can and will eat it, even when busy. Winner!!

When you find a thing that helps you be successful in your efforts, just do the dang thing. Even if that is soup when it feels like 50 bazillion degrees before noon. :)

Small Step Sunday: Don't take your data personally!!

Here's how last week went for me in our one thing challenge for this month. If I stopped at a surface level evaluation, I might feel defeated. Out of 7 days, I was only successful once.

This is where a choice gets to be made. Be upset OR be curious about what the information is trying to tell me. Work mornings, I will skip it if it needs too much prep. Heavy breakfast feels gross. Portions need to be small.

Instead of letting myself be frustrated, I will let the information help me try different choices this week and evaluate again next week.

Challenge yourself this week to take the sting out of data that you are gathering. Sit back, get curious and reframe your next steps. :)

Small, daily steps allow us to slow down, focus and reset.

There have been many conversations recently about how time seems to be moving so quickly right now and how hard it is hard to stay tuned into our goals.

Our challenge this next month is going to help us take a minute, make ONE change, and apply it daily for the entire month of June.

Join us this month for the One Small Step Challenge!! Choose ONE daily action item that you will do every single day next month. From eat one veggie to be quiet for 5 minutes to drink one glass of water before your breakfast, pick any one step that will help you begin again and track it.

My small step this month: eat breakfast each day before 11 with smiley faces in my calendar to track. :)

When you combine your favorite road trip with one of your favorite camping spots!!! :)

Intentional rest is one of my learning adventures this year and the struggle has been REAL!! This past weekend wr packed up the car and put ourselves in a nature time out!!

Coffee was consumed, plants were identified and birds observed. LOTS of staring at the sky and wonderful conversations. Capped off with linner at a must stop!!! IYKYK!!! :)

This is a way where I will actually let myself just be at peace and find pause. Hence, lots of camping in our future!

We are hard at work behind the scenes getting some new things ready for the F.I.T. Crew and decided we needed to hear from everyone as well!

What does our community need, both in the gym and our community at large, to make all things fitness, health and wellness better?? Even if it isn't something we do, we want to start finding some solutions.

These ideas are going to help shape some of the things we do in the gym and we want to help generate a better environment for everyone to chase big dreams. So, noatyer where you join us or work on your journey, what do YOU want or need to make healthy easier??? :)

This AMAZING athlete absolutely crushed this weekend at her swim meet!!!!

Ashley has worked so hard to push herself in swimming this year. She took on a new stroke, challenged her distances and worked with a new relay team. The medals and the smile show the results of her efforts!

I HAVE to brag for a minute about the beautiful blessing that Standard F.I.T. had in .wellness.mama !! :)

Yesterday we hosted our Austism Awareness Event and it was amazing! The entire gym was filled with wonderful humans serving or being served. Kids were playing, families were learning ways to grow and thrive . Community in action responding to needs.

ALL of this was done single handedly by Sandra. She is a passionate, driven, force to be reckoned with and she moves mountains. Our world is a better place because she is in it!!

If you haven't booked your appointment to visit her at .wellness.mama, you absolutely should!!! Give yourself a well deserved rest and experience the magic of Sandra for yourself!!!! :)
