2026 was a great year over at Slagg Motorsports for the #71 truck! 🏁

Congratulations to Tristan Swanson Motorsports and Thirty One Motorsports on the well deserved championship 👍🏼 I became a big fan of that dude this year

We started the year hot with a big win in the season opener, struggled through the spring and summer, then bounced back to finish strong

At one point we dropped to 5th in points and 150 points out of 1st. Proud of our efforts to claw our way back up to 2nd place and 60 points away from another truck championship

I can't thank Keith and Bobbi enough for deciding to put me behind the wheel. Thank you to Chris Purdy for helping make it happen when he knew I didn't have a ride

Thank you to Val, Wheeler, and Chesney for supporting me, letting me do this, and for cheering me on all year

Falloween - Season Championship

𝑺𝑨𝑻𝑼𝑹𝑫𝑨𝒀: 𝑹𝑨𝑪𝑬𝑫𝑨𝒀
Qualifying : 7th out of 26
Heat Race: Start 4th / Finish 4th
Feature: Start 3rd / Finish 2nd

We weren't great out of the box first thing on Friday for practice, but we made some good initial adjustments to get us back close to where we should be and close to the feel I wanted

Only 1 quick practice session on Saturday and we weren't good at all, but the stagger had opened up on us and we knew if we closed that up we should be back in the ballpark. Sure enough Brenden got the tires back where they needed to be for qualifying and it felt good again

The rest of the day was full of close, hard, side by side battles in the heat race and feature. It was tough to pass and but we battled hard and clean and hopefully put on a good show. It sure was fun behind the wheel!

We came home 2nd which bounced us back up to 2nd in points to wrap up the year

P2 at the dells and squeaked out 2nd place in points (by 1 point) after a solid day!

It's the final raceday of 2026 and championship day for the Midwest Truck Series! We sit 3rd in points 🏁

We're 59 points out of the lead, and 21 back from 2nd place

Goal for the day: get another feature win 🏆 the points will be what they will be

It doesn't get much better than Wisconsin short track racing in the Fall 🍂 come on out to the track....it's going to be a beautiful day for racing!

Well....we sucked

We made some decent changes throughout the weekend. Thanks to Michael Bilderback for hopping in the truck on Thursday to get the weekend started for us!

We fought the handling on the truck Friday and Saturday, and just didn't have the speed we needed. It showed in qualifying as we were bad loose and just trying to hang on. Same thing in the heat race

Chris Purdy stopped over to try and help us out and found a crucial issue before the feature which was good we found it, but basically put us back to square one for the feature. Fortunately the truck was a little better than it had been, but we just weren't dialed in at that point

We gained some ground early on as the top row moved forward, and then settled into place. Had some spirited battles for position and ultimately held onto 9th to wrap up the weekend

We maintained our spot in points and head into the final race in 3rd. A silver lining to the night was winning the Pit Crew BBQ Dash for Cash against the top 4 from our last race, and brought home a little bonus money! Thanks for your support of the Midwest Truck Series!

More than any other time, thanks to Chris Purdy and the Shafer team for their help. Oktoberfest is a long weekend full of long days and nights. Those guys had their own car to focus on for the big race and were in a close championship battle this weekend. But thank you for squeezing in some time to try to help us figure out why we were struggling so bad. We were lucky to have your help and it definitely doesn't go unnoticed.

Big thank you to Val for holding down the fort at home while I was gone. This was one of the only races I was able to convice her to watch from home with the kids vs making the trek all the way to Lacrosse and staying out there a few days. But doing double bedtimes and double wake ups in the middle of the night for kiddos that have FOMO and don't like to sleep....isn't any easier than everything she does at the track. Thanks for everything you do!
