💥What a way to close out the season at the WIARA State Snowboard Championship 🏁

🌞Unseasonably warm temps in the mid-50s made it feel more like spring break than state finals, but our Slinger fans showed up loud and proud!

📣 Huge shoutout to the crew at Mt. La Crosse for preserving the snow and delivering a fantastic race surface despite the heat.

It takes every single athlete pushing their best run to post the fastest combined times amongst their team to earn a podium spot.

This year was something special.
The grit.
The dedication.
The teamwork.
The sportsmanship.

Across the state, 91 athletes battled it out in Slalom, Giant Slalom, and Boardercross with one goal — secure that hard-fought place on the podium.
