Mental health doesn't clock out when the workday begins.

Employees come to work while navigating grief, relationship challenges, financial stress, parenting struggles, anxiety, depression, caregiving responsibilities and situations their coworkers may know absolutely nothing about.

Sometimes the person who continues showing up, answering emails and getting their work done is also struggling tremendously behind the scenes.

That's why workplace mental health matters. It's not about employers having all the answers. It's about creating a culture where people know:

💚 It's okay to ask for help.
💚 Someone will listen.
💚 Mental health is treated like health.
💚 Resources are accessible when they're needed.

During Su***de Prevention Month, we're reminding organizations that creating a mentally healthy workplace isn't just a September initiative.

It's something we build all year long.

Today, we celebrate the people behind the work.

The people who show up.
The people who lead.
The people who serve.
The people who care for others.
The people who keep learning, building, creating and making a difference.

At Well365, we're fortunate to work alongside organizations and employees in so many different industries, and we're continually reminded that the greatest asset of any organization will always be its people.

This Labor Day, we hope you find a little time to step away from the to-do list, recharge and enjoy the people and things that matter most.

Happy Labor Day from all of us at Well365!

HR leaders 👀 Just like nurses care for patients, your role is to care for your people.

✅ Healthier employees = fewer sick days
✅ Supported employees = stronger retention
✅ Engaged employees = higher productivity

That’s the ROI of wellbeing. 📈

💼 Already have an EAP? Great! We’re not here to replace it. 😉

Well365 can work alongside your existing EAP as a supplemental resource—or serve as a stand-alone wellness program for organizations that don’t currently have one.

Think of us as an extra layer of support for your employees. 💚

Already have an EAP? Let’s talk about what Well365 could add. 👀

Sometimes the signs that someone is struggling are obvious. Sometimes they're not. During Su***de Prevention Month, we're encouraging everyone to become more aware of the warning signs, not so we can diagnose someone or have all the answers, but so we can recognize when it may be time to check in.

If you notice concerning changes in someone you know, don't be afraid to ask:

💚 “I've noticed you haven't seemed like yourself lately. How are you really doing?”

💚 “I'm worried about you. Do you want to talk?”

💚 And when you're concerned about su***de, it's okay to ask directly: “Are you thinking about su***de?”

You don't need the perfect words. You don't need to be a mental health professional.

You can notice.
You can ask.
You can listen.
And you can help connect someone to support.

One conversation may matter more than you realize.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or having thoughts of su***de, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Please share this post. Knowing the warning signs is something all of us can do.

Sometimes “I'm fine” doesn't mean I'm fine.

We ask people how they're doing all the time.

“How are you?”
“Doing okay?”
“Everything good?”

And most of us have become pretty good at automatically responding, “I'm good.”

This month, we want to challenge you to ASK TWICE.

“How are you?”

And then...

“No, really. How are you doing?”

Pay attention when someone's behavior changes. When they become quieter. More withdrawn. More irritable. When the person who normally shows up suddenly doesn't.

You don't have to be a mental health professional to care about someone.

You just have to be willing to notice, ask and listen.

Sometimes the second question is the one that opens the door.
