Calling all past, present, and future Brown Belts, Brown Belt Weekend is only a month away!
Chico Kodenkan and Nibukikan invite you to the 50th Annual Brown Belt Weekend. This is our 50th anniversary of the event and we wanted to do something special, so this year the event is open to all ranks.
We have a great event planned. Mark your calendars for September 12th and 13th, 2026, as we gather at the 5 Mile Recreation Area in Bidwell Park, Chico, CA for another great event.

Time: Saturday from 9:30am to 4:30pm, Sunday from 9:30am to about 2:00pm

Normally, the event is specifically tailored for students holding a brown belt or higher rank, but this year we will have a mat for lower ranks too, so I encourage everyone to attend and learn what it takes to be a brown belt. This is the only year lower rants will be able to attend so take advantage of this rare opportunity!
