⛳ NEW CHARITY GOLF COURSE SPOTLIGHT: CLEVELAND COUNTRY CLUB
Our latest Charity Golf Course Spotlight takes us to Cleveland Country Club in Shelby, NC.
I sat down with Head Golf Professional Caleb Ridings to talk about what Cleveland Country Club offers organizations planning charity and fundraising golf tournaments. Then we headed onto the course so I could experience it for myself.
A few things stood out:
• Around 100 players is a great fit for the club
• Fields up to 144 can be accommodated with advance planning for additional carts
• A very playable layout that works well for mixed-skill tournament fields
• Wide fairways and interesting hole designs
• Excellent greens that were in great condition and rolled extremely well
• Plenty of banquet and event space for awards, meals, raffles and post-round activities
