Portland owes me nothing! From hiking to w**e tasting in the vineyards, this place has it all! The friendliest of folks, delicious food, support for women sports, and employee stores! Our time was well spent, the city was chill and had vibes I wasn’t expecting, the drivers were nice and the sunsets were epic.

I was thoroughly impressed by Portland and will be back… in the summer and on a particularly sunny weekend like this one! John

We’ve had tired days, we’ve had grumpy days, we’ve had sore days but today was the first time my daughter days she wished we didn’t have to do them.

The water quality in Choctawhatchee Bay has been awful the last three weeks. This has sent us on adventures to find new water! While I don’t have as much time as I’d like, to scout and hone in on a pattern, I’m thoroughly enjoying this period of discovery! Its forced me to slowwww down, work the entire flat, look for every little clue that might help put the puzzle together!

A true love story. Fishing has been a key piece in my identity throughout the years. It’s been the foundation for hundreds of adventures, memories, and life decisions. Every once in a while I look back at the life I’ve lived throughout the years and am grateful to have taken a path less traveled. Here I sit at 36 with a 9-5 in an office but fishing is still giving me a way to feed my family on the side and to create more memories with people I love. I’m soaking up every minute of my daughter wanting to join me on adventures we call “fishing” and hope to be casting until the day I lay it down forever.

The truth is… booking sites like Fishing Booker have completely changed the charter fishing industry.

While they have made it insanely easy to compare charters and book fast. Here’s the part most people don’t see. Many of these platforms take 10 to 30% off each trip, on top of fuel, bait, tackle, dock fees, insurance, all of it.

Most charters are small, family-run and operated businesses, just people who turned a passion into a living. We just can’t compete with the marketing spend of some of these companies, so most charters have been forced to use them.
