What a weekend for the Eagles Select 8U!

The girls battled through a talented field, took on some tough competition, and finished as one of the Final Four teams in the state!

This team showed tremendous heart, resilience, and teamwork all weekend long. They competed hard, supported one another, and represented the Eagles program with pride every time they stepped on the field.

Congratulations, Eagles! Enjoy the accomplishment—you earned it!

A great weekend for our girls, finishing 4-1 and battling all the way to the championship game. We came up just short, but we're proud of the effort, toughness, and teamwork they showed all weekend.

9U fought hard in C State ending with a 3-2 record over 3 days. 🥎🦅💚🤍🖤

Video highlights in Comments:

Game 1: After a slow start by the team, Courtney Smith created separation with a 3 run double in the bottom of the 3rd.
Game 2: The team executed their first defensive rundown/“pickle” with the rarely seen 1-2-6-3-6-3-6 putout!
Game 3: Mabel Roemke blasted a game tying double past the centerfielder in the bottom of the 4th.
Game 4: Riley Walker with the delay steal of home in the first inning for the team’s first run.

The 8u Eagles came out strong on Day 1 of the C-State Tournament, going 2-0 with two hard-fought victories! Our HEAL award winners were Avery and Chandler, and Eve and Callie were recognized by our opponents for their strong performances. Tomorrow, these girls will be back at it, battling for a tournament championship - Let’s finish this thing strong! 💚🤍🦅🥎

Practice was officially cancelled for 8U Eagles Select Green - Butler due to a high chance of FUN! ☀️🥎

Instead of the field, we traded in our cleats for a night at Birdies—dinner, mini golf, and lots of laughs!

These girls continue to show up as amazing teammates on the field, but nights like this remind us they’re even better friends off the field. 💚

Such a fun night with an awesome group of girls!

The 9Us went 5-0 on the weekend to win their first championship of the year! Rosie Noel set the tone tossing a perfect game to start the tournament and combined with Olivia Rieke for a clutch championship game on the mound.

In a tense, extra inning, semi-final battle, Riley Walker had a clutch walk-off hit to drive in two as Mabel Roemke scored the winning run. See comments for video.
