The 11U Eagles Select-Fitzsimons crew started their season off with a bang, against some tough high level B competition!! 🔥 🥎

Our first tournament adjusting to a new ball size and pitching distance, these girls showed what true grit and teamwork can accomplish.

10U debuted Saturday going 2-1, after leading in all three games vs good competition. Starting pitchers were impressive putting up 23 K’s vs a mere 3 walks and one HBP.

Some big hits included Riley Shaw, Olivia Rieke and Mabel Roemke all hitting balls that reached the fence.

The team also had their first “strike ‘em out, throw ‘em out” with new catcher Paige Flynn gunning down a runner to end an inning.

The fall season will be exciting! 🦅🥎💚🤍🖤

What a way to start 9U! 🔥 These girls went 4-1 in their first week and there is already so much to be excited about. Lots new challenges and a whole lot of fun. We are just getting started - LET’S GO EAGLES!!! 🦅💚🥎

What an amazing kick off to our first Eagles Select 8U games! The girls came ready to play and showed up big on defense, allowing just one total run across two games! Bats were absolute 🔥 as well, putting up 31 runs for the day. So proud of these girls and this is just the beginning!

LET’S GO!!!!! The bond and culture these girls have already created in such a short time is remarkable. This is going to be a fun year watching them challenge each other and grow. The best is yet to come. Eagles Select 11U-Fitzsimons 🤩🥎🦅💚

What a season for 9U! After a slow start in the fall with a 4-9 record to start kid pitch, the team put up an impressive 33-13-1 record in the spring/summer session to finish at 37-22-1. This included two championships and four second place finishes!

On Sunday, the team played five games in one day for the first time ever and fought all the way to the finals of the 10U tournament, finishing in second place to end their season! Rosie Noel became the third pitcher on the team to hit 100 strikeouts! In the semi-finals, Olivia Rieke threw a no-hitter with no ball ever being put in play, which included 9 K’s, to avenge the team’s loss earlier in the day!

It was a great season and the future is definitely bright for this squad! 🦅🥎💚🤍🖤

What a way to end an incredible season- one more ring! We entered a 9U tournament hoping to learn a few things and challenge ourselves—and these girls exceeded every expectation by battling their way to the championship game. The Eagles went 3-2 for the weekend, finishing as runners up and wrapping up with a final record of 43-21.

This team has worked so hard all season, and we are so proud of the players they've become, both on and off the field. Countless memories. A season we'll never forget. 💚🥎🦅
