🏆⚒️ 2026 FC Delco Players Cup CHAMPIONS! ⚒️🏆

The Anthracite FC 2011 Boys Arsenal bring home the hardware after an incredible 5-0 weekend at the FC Delco Players Cup!

🌧️ The rain couldn't put a damper on Arsenal's play, as the boys went 5-0 on the weekend scoring 18 goals and only giving up 5. Arsenal took on top clubs from around the region and emerged victorious through some incisive attacking moves and shutouts held in the semi-final and the final! 🚫🥅

Congratulations, boys! Enjoy the moment, keep working, and finish the season strong! 🔴⚪⚫

🏆 Chance To Go 3 In A Row! 🏆
⚒️ AFC 2010G Lyon are headed to their THIRD straight State Cup Final!

🏟 🕒 This Saturday at 3PM at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex, our 2010 Girls Lyon team will compete in the EPYSA Presidents Cup Final. After capturing the Challenge Cup in 2024 and the Presidents Cup in 2025, Lyon now has the opportunity to make it THREE consecutive State Cup titles!

We are incredibly proud of this group and everything they’ve accomplished. Go out, compete hard, trust yourselves, and do your thing this weekend!

📣 STAFF ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
Anthracite FC is excited to welcome David Leonard to the club as a Travel Soccer Coach for our U15 Boys Celtic & our U9 Girls Fiorentina!

⚽🧤 Coach Leonard will be coming to Scranton to take on the Assistant Coach role for Lackawanna College (NCAA DII). He currently serves as Assistant Coach at Shepherd University, where he has helped develop top talent, including an All-Atlantic Region goalkeeper. He brings a wealth of collegiate experience from stops at Hood College and Frederick Community College, along with over a decade of impact in the youth game.

📊🗂️ As Technical Director and Goalkeeper Coach at EPIC Soccer Club, Coach Leonard has played a key role in player development and club growth. He holds a USSF B License, USC Goalkeeper certification, and advanced training in positional play and scouting analysis.

🗣️ A former Shepherd student-athlete and multi-sport competitor, Coach Leonard combines high-level playing experience with a modern, detail-oriented coaching approach that will elevate our players across all levels.

⚽📋 Coach Flannery is the current Lackawanna College Men's Soccer Coach, and will be leading them into their first season of NCAA DII competition. Coach Flannery also brings experience from the NCAA Division I level with Lehigh University and NCAA Division III powerhouse Dickinson College, along with a proven track record of developing players and building competitive, high-character teams.

🗣️ Known for his energy, organization, and player-first approach, Coach Flannery is ready to make an immediate impact at AFC and help our players grow on and off the field.
