ATF's proposed rule would let guns ship straight to a buyer's door – no dealer, no face-to-face check.

Here's what that actually changes:
1️⃣ Buyers pay a new $7 verification fee on every remote sale
2️⃣ The sale moves forward unless a disqualifying issue stops it. There's no approval step.
3️⃣ Local dealers lose the walk-in sales and transfers that keep their shops running

Independent dealers do this face-to-face check every day. This proposal removes it and adds a fee, without solving a problem that exists.
