O2X Human Performance provides science-backed, comprehensive training and education for tactical athletes so they can finish their careers as strong as they started. Our EAT SWEAT THRIVE methodology is designed to meet the unique needs of the tactical athlete population. We provide firefighters, first responders, law enforcement officers, military presonnel, and elite organizations with the tools needed to make small, incremental changes that lead to sustainable lifestyle improvements.

“New wellness specialist leads growth in mental health support for Sheriff’s Office staff.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is marking the month by strengthening its focus on employee wellness for both sworn and professional staff.

Over the past year, the Wellness Unit has expanded its services to make support more accessible, offering onsite wellbeing checks, peer support, digital tools, sleep rooms, healthier meal options, and chaplain services.

A key component of this growth is the agency’s partnership with O2X, which embeds a full time Mental Health Performance Specialist within the agency. Fernando Lopez works directly with staff, teaching skills that strengthen focus, reduce stress, improve relationships, and build healthy habits. Our thoughts are with Boston Fire Department as they mourn the loss of Firefighter Robert Kilduff.

A 24-year veteran of the department assigned to Rescue 2, Robert made the ultimate sacrifice while operating at a 3-alarm building fire in Dorchester last night.

“Bobby Kilduff was one of our best.

For 24 years, Bobby proudly served the people of Boston as a fire fighter, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He was a Marine, a Jake through and through, and part of a family dedicated to serving others – on and off the job. The Kilduff name means something in Boston and in our union.

Bobby made the ultimate sacrifice last night battling an aggressive 3-alarm fire in Dorchester. Through the efforts of Bobby and others on scene, all five residents made it out safely, and the fire was kept from spreading to adjacent homes.

BK loved the job and our city, but more than anything, he loved his kids – Mason and Hanna Jane. Please keep them, his family and friends, and our Local 718 brothers and sisters, in your prayers.” -
