For Volunteer Appreciation Week, I wanted to take a moment to thank all those who volunteer for the Florida LMSC. Officials, Meet Directors, Coaches, Team Managers, Timers, Counters, Lifeguards, Significant others who sit for hours on the pool deck cheering on their loved one. Last but not least, I am thankful for my Florida LMSC Board and Committee Chairs who work hard for our members behind the scenes - I am biased when I say we have the best Board in the Country. Congratulations to everyone who attended the Rowdy Gaines meet this past weekend, braving the unusual "flurryda" weather and very cold pool deck (see below). Thank you Rowdy, Scott and Jillian for having the forethought to buy the heaters which helped a lot. Thank you Officials, Timers, Lifeguards for braving the elements. Hope everyone made it home safely and warm.

Happy New Year Florida LMSC'ers!

It's that time of year where we will be accepting your nominations for the 2025 FL LMSC Awards.
Please go to the FL LMSC website awards page at: https://floridalmsc.org/awards/
to fill out the form and return to me by February 15, 2025. All award nominations require the form - no email nominations will be accepted. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at: [email protected] .
Please take the time to nominate someone on your team who goes above & beyond or a volunteer you thought did a great job at a meet you attended.

Once we confirm the venue for the awards lunch, we will post it on the FL LMSC website.
