Presley and Rachel spent eight days in Chile from May 1–9, investigating the intersection of human rights and sports. Through Chile’s dictatorial history in the 1970s, they discovered how athletes can serve as agents of social justice.

Like those who have come before you, you are cherished here. Your contributions were purposeful and successful. You grew to reach your potential, and this is your life blueprint. Don’t be status quo – take risks and go for it. Say “yes” because you know how to progress, recover, learn, and accomplish with the most beautiful grace.
 
When you leave Richmond, take all of the meaningless and meaningful conversations, big and little team moments, day-to-day and cherished memories, the simple and deep lessons. Be courteous to those who haven’t had this experience but share generously. You are extraordinary leaders. Know that I will always believe in you. You are loved.

Work hard to always connect with each other, your past & present teammates, and me in ways others than social media! Text, call, write, and visit.

And, stay in touch with the water.
