Why do we act like life is supposed to get boring after 50? I’m not interested.

I still want to travel, try new things, look good, feel strong and have a hell of a lot of fun doing it.

We’re not done yet. Not even close.

What are YOU still excited to do?

Getting leaner after 50 doesn’t require some crazy complicated diet.

Eat enough protein. Eat real food most of the time — meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruit. Food that actually looks like food.

And then do it again tomorrow.

That’s the part people miss.

You don’t need to be perfect all week. And you definitely don’t need to blow it up and “start again Monday.”

Make these things part of your normal life. Your daily habits. The way you eat without having to think so damn hard about it.

Simple works. But you have to keep doing it.

Save this one. And follow if you’re ready to get leaner and stronger after 50 without making fitness your entire life.

PDRN INJECTIONS timeline... 
I go to London for my son’s doctor, but also for a Skincare doctor that I’ve been seeing the last several years.  
 
WHY: PDRN Triggers cellular repair and tissue regeneration and prompts the body to heal and rebuild itself at a biological level versus just masking signs of aging 
 
You cannot have PDRN (salmon DNA) 
Injected directly in your skin in USA. Per FDA. (Only microneedle PDRN here) 
 
BUT.... I really wouldn’t mess with that and I still do straight micro needling PRF because that is the gold standard. It builds structure, deep collagen remodeling which, if you’re around my age (or 40 yrs +) is what we NEED.  
 
But I like to try other modalities that are only available in Europe, UK and Asia. While I’m travelling.  
 
2nd -3rd pics: Arrival in London before I saw my Skincare Dr the next morning. 
 
4. Leaving her Knightsbridge Clinic.. 
5. About 5 hours later  
 
6. Arrival in Edinburgh with my son, always with a hat and scarf to protect from the sun and environment- ALWAYS! 
 
7 The first evening after the injections- also had collagen injections. This is at the W rooftop bar, Edinburgh.  
 
8. After midnight, the first night. so roughly 12 hours since the procedure. 
 
9. The next morning. Still no makeup. I put a little sunblock, but you can still see the bumps on the neck, which is very typical with PDRN injections. 
 
10-13 still the second day. Various outings around Edinburgh, but I stayed covered and protected. 
 
14. This was yesterday.. DAY 10. The bruising is gone except a little bit on the side of my cheek and eyelid. 
 
PAIN- They apply the typical numbing cream. I numbed for an hour which was key because normally I numb for 45 minutes and it's ki’da painful-just uncomfortable😫 but I am used to it so this time around it wasn't as’painful. NO PAIN after it's al’ done. The bruises don’t hurt at all.👍🏻

At 47, I was 114 pounds and skinny fat.

And I was working out ALL the time.

More cardio. More workouts. Sometimes twice a day.

I thought if I just worked harder, eventually I’d get the body I wanted.

I was wrong.

I didn’t need to get smaller. I needed muscle.

So I stopped chasing skinny and started getting strong.

I lifted heavier. I ate more protein. I stopped trying to burn everything off.

And THAT changed my body.

I’m 59 now.

I train fewer days than I did at 47 — and I’m stronger, leaner and have more shape.

If you’re over 50 and working your arse off but your body still isn’t changing, doing MORE is not the answer.

You probably need to get stronger.

I’ve never really shown this side of what I do.

While I was in Edinburgh, I tried professional fat cavitation on a small stubborn area of my lower belly and flanks. I saw enough of a difference after one treatment that I got curious.

So I came home and bought a spa-strength machine to try for myself.

I lift. I eat well. I’m already lean. This isn’t replacing any of that — and I’m not expecting a machine to do the work for me.

It’s simply something else I’ve been trying on one little area that still hangs on.

I do a lot of things for my skin and body that I’ve never shared here. Maybe it’s time I start. 🤍
