When I ask married couples what they promised on their wedding day, the answer I hear most often?
“Hell if I know!”
It’s a bit funny… but mostly heartbreaking.
Because forgetting what you vowed to each other isn’t just a memory lapse—it’s a slippery slope toward disconnection.
At best, you drift into default mode. At worst, you wake up wondering how you became strangers—or worse, caught in a conflict you can’t walk back from.
So here’s the real question:
What will YOU do to keep your vows alive—year after year?
Raj and I once turned our vows into a song and performed it on stage. 🎤🎶
It was edgy. It was wild. It was fun.
And most of all—it made our promises stick in a new, unforgettable way.
Now, I’m not saying you need to grab a mic.
But I am inviting you to find your own way to make your vows visible, meaningful, and alive.
✨ Here are a few simple ideas to get started:
Set calendar alerts for your “vow of the month.”
Make them visible—on your mirror, fridge, or phone.
Create a keepsake—a video, a graphic, a playlist.
Say them out loud before meals or weekly meetings.
Take it public with a social post or a commitment declaration.
Score your vows annually and set new goals each anniversary.
