And that’s a wrap on the Battle Padel Event! 🎾🔥

What an incredible day on the courts with the Flyte Racquet Club, Tiburon Peninsula Club, and Lagunitas Club players. The competition was intense, the rallies were legendary, and the energy stayed at 100% until the very last point.

A massive THANK YOU to every player from Flyte, Tiburon Peninsula Club, and Lagunitas Club who stepped into the cage today. The energy was electric, the rallies were legendary, and it was so great to see our local clubs coming together for some friendly competition.

We also want to share a huge shoutout to our sponsor, Babolat and Kim Boyden for taking the event to the next level! Getting to test out the new 2026 racquets was a total game-changer, and the prizes and giveaways definitely added some extra heat to the day. 🎁🔥

Marin County to Host Its First-Ever Inter-League Padel Match at Flyte Racquet Club in San Rafael on Sunday March, 29 2026
San Rafael, CA — Flyte Racquet Club, the first club in Marin County to build dedicated padel courts, is proud to host Marin’s first-ever inter-league padel match, marking a major milestone in the growth of the sport across the region.

This inaugural event will feature a round robin team competition, with Flyte Racquet Club welcoming players from The Lagunitas Club and Tiburon Peninsula Club for an exciting day of high-level play, community engagement, and friendly rivalry.

As one of the fastest-growing sports globally, padel combines elements of tennis and squash, offering an accessible yet competitive experience that continues to attract new players throughout California. Flyte Racquet Club has been at the forefront of introducing and expanding the sport in Marin County, creating a vibrant and rapidly growing padel community.

In addition to its four state-of-the-art padel courts, Flyte Racquet Club features 23 pickleball courts and 6 tennis courts, making it one of the most comprehensive racquet sports destinations in the Bay Area and uniquely positioned to support the continued growth of multiple racquet sports under one roof.

The event is led by Director of Padel, Javier Salamanca, whose leadership and expertise have played a key role in developing Flyte’s padel program and fostering competitive and social opportunities for players of all levels.

“This event represents a defining moment for padel in Marin County,” said Javier Salamanca. “Bringing together multiple clubs for the first inter-league competition not only elevates the level of play, but also strengthens the community around a sport that is growing incredibly fast.
