Bushikan Karate Dojo We are a local family run Martial Arts Dojo that specializes in Self-Defense and Karate training for kids ages 3+ and adults.

We also teach traditional Okinawan weapons classes and provide private seminars for groups. Franco Sanguinetti Sensei has 45 years of active martial arts experience and started the Bushikan Karate Dojo in 1992. He is currently ranked as a Nana Dan (7th Degree Black Belt) in Okinawa Goju Ryu, Nana Dan in Matayoshi Kobudo Kodokan and Sho Dan (1st Degree Black Belt) in Iai-Do. His desire to give back

to the community takes him to local elementary schools, local daycares and corporations. In addition to teaching at the Bushikan Dojo, Sanguinetti Sensei travels around the world to teach Matayoshi Kobudo and spread traditional Martial Arts. The Bushikan Karate Dojo has classes for kids 3 years and up, adults and also traditional weapons training. Students learn vital Self-Defense techniques as well as character building skills, self-confidence, respect for themselves and others and always to try your best.
