Save the date for our upcoming Adaptive WOD on Saturday, July 11th at 8 and 9 am.

Able-bodied athletes will take on adaptive-style movements in an empathy-based workout that simulates training with a physical impairment.
Come move with us, build understanding and respect for adaptive athletes, and celebrate inclusion for athletes of all abilities.
All money raised will go towards adaptive athlete Jordan Cabrita’s Adaptive CrossFit Games journey!

Every first Saturday of the month, HGX hosts a free introductory class designed specifically for people who want to experience what CrossFit is really like. This class gives beginners a chance to see our coaching, community, and workout environment firsthand without having to complete our Fundamentals program first.

What makes CrossFit so powerful isn’t just the workouts, it’s the people beside you doing them.

Every day at HGX, athletes of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels come together with one common goal: to become a little better than they were yesterday. The workout may be challenging, but that’s exactly where the magic happens.

There is something unique about suffering through a tough workout with others. When you’re pushing through the final round, trying to finish one more rep, or finding the strength to keep moving when you want to quit, the encouragement from the person next to you matters. Shared struggle creates connection. Shared effort builds trust. Shared victories create friendships.

In a world where many people feel isolated, CrossFit creates a community. You celebrate personal records together. You support each other through setbacks. You cheer for the last person to finish just as loudly as the first. The workout may only last an hour, but the relationships built inside the gym often last for years.

A fitness regimen that does not support health is NOT .

Nearly every measurable value of health can be a placed on a continuum that ranges from sickness to wellness to fitness.

For example, a blood pressure of 140/90 is pathological, 120/80 is normal or healthy and 90/60 is fit. A triglyceride reading of 300 is pathological, 150 is normal or healthy and 100 is fit.

Bone density, body fat percentage, cholesterol, muscle mass, flexibility and dozens of other common measures of health can be ordered in this manner.

Sickness, wellness and fitness, then, are measures of the same entity: health.

Fitness is “super-wellness” and provides a great margin of protection against the ravages of time and disease.
