Didn’t think I’d see this day. At least not from the lens I view it through now.

3 years sober.

It is truly amazing, what our minds are capable of.
Addiction, depression, anxiety, and fear;
Love, wonder, happiness, and courage.

We don’t choose the first path, usually it chooses us. It takes over and deteriorates your being from the inside, out.

But we can choose to change.

I chose to change myself for the better, 3 years ago. Every day is a work in progress, but I wouldn’t trade that for anything. I’m a hell of a lot stronger because of it.

Just have to keep going 🧡
