Texas State University will launch the first NCAA Division I women’s gymnastics program in Texas!
“This is an incredibly exciting moment for collegiate gymnastics, and we are energized by the passion and commitment shown by Texas State’s leadership to make this a reality,” said Casey Jo MacPherson, head coach at the University of Pittsburgh, on behalf of the WCGA.

We are beyond excited to officially announce the BIG RETURN of one of our programs to AHGA… ACROBATIC GYMNASTICS IS COMING BACK! 🤸‍♀️✨

This is an incredible opportunity for athletes who love strength, flexibility, balance, teamwork, creativity, and exciting partner skills! Acro combines gymnastics with dynamic partner work and choreography to create something truly special.

Not only is Acro an amazing and growing sport on its own, but Acro and Tumbling continue to rapidly grow in the college world, creating exciting opportunities for athletes to continue competing beyond high school. We are so excited to begin building our own program and give athletes another pathway to grow, develop, and chase big goals for their future!
