🌎 Happy World Environment Day! 🌿

Today is a great reminder of why we do what we do.

Every day, we're lucky enough to spend our time on the Arkansas River, surrounded by mountains, wildlife, clean water, and some of the most beautiful landscapes in Colorado. It's a privilege we never take for granted.

Whether it's packing out trash, respecting wildlife, staying on established trails, or helping guests connect with the outdoors, we believe small actions add up. The more people experience wild places, the more likely they are to protect them.

The Arkansas River isn't just where we work. It's home to countless fish, birds, bighorn sheep, and other wildlife, and it's a place where families make memories that last a lifetime.

This World Environment Day, we encourage everyone to spend some time outside. Take a hike, go fishing, paddle a river, camp under the stars, or simply enjoy a sunset. The best way to appreciate nature is to experience it.

Thank you to all of our guests who help us keep Colorado's rivers and public lands clean and beautiful for future generations.

Before you book a Browns Canyon trip this summer, ask one important question:

"How much river am I actually getting?"

Because of lower water levels this season, some outfitters have shortened their Browns Canyon trips and moved them farther downstream. While they're still calling them Browns Canyon trips, some guests may be surprised to learn they're getting only about 4 miles of rafting and just over an hour on the water.

At Monumental Expeditions, we believe you deserve better.

That's why we're recommending Bear Creek as a great alternative this season.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
