Well fellas and fillets… y’all might be my new lucky charm. 😂🎣

A HUGE thank you to everybody who came out and supported Bassflinger Outdoors by watching the live today.

I caught FOUR trout while y’all were hanging out with me! I don't know if it was the fishing spot, the lure, or the Fishing Buddies watching… but I'm officially blaming y’all for the good luck. 😂

I know the sound wasn't exactly what I'd like it to be, but this was our first real run at doing it this way. The fishing was good, the trout cooperated, and y'all showed up — and that's what matters.

So if you missed it, or you just want to go back and watch some Riverside Nonsense, here it is for y'all to take a look at. 🎣

The deer in Salida have apparently figured out traffic better than some humans. They use the crosswalks, wait for cars, and when they're already in the street… they just keep strolling like they own the road.
At this point, I'm not convinced the deer live in Salida.
I think they RUN Salida.
And that buck down by the river?
Pretty sure he's the mayor. 😂

I thought raccoons were just wandering around at night looking for garbage. I was wrong. They have assignments, meetings, equipment… and apparently one of them carries a spoon. Then he chased me toward the house. I've already fought a raccoon once and got bit. I'm done. 😂

I went into the woods and apparently received a message.
I don't know what it said… but between the branch, the bird, the squirrel, and whatever the heck hit the ground, I think the message was pretty clear.
Apparently the woods want me to leave.
Naturally… I stayed.
