Got the SUPER special premium steamed hay for our SUPER “special” ponies who require SUPER special hay… because of course they do 😂😫👑

Rangers Farm and Ranch? Absolute legends. Hit up Matt Noel for all your hay needs — they don’t just grow good stuff, they TEST it so you actually know what you’re feeding. Local Utah (Cedar) and they’ll deliver, skid steer and all. Bundles? Hand-stack? They’ll do it. We even set them up with BodyArmor, fans, and a not-total-hell zone because we’re not monsters.

Artax saw a skid steer for the first time and had a full identity crisis. Stood there like “what is THIS metal monster.” Then the little genius figured it out and started timing his sneak-attack nibbles for the perfect drive-by bite. 10/10 chaos. Love watching that tiny brain light up and his courage slowly level up.

Barn cleanup incoming once my RO gets fixed… but that full storage in the back? Chef’s kiss. 🐴💨

Cleaning the barn out tonight so we’re ready for delivery tomorrow.
15 bales of premium steamed orchard hay are coming from Rangers Farm and Ranch in Cedar. Steamed for lower dust and better palatability — the forage we use for layover and rehab horses that need clean, consistent hay.
Concrete makes this reset easy. Sweep the loose hay, open the aisle, and the floor is ready to take the weight of a full load without moisture coming up from the ground.
Tomorrow the skid steer brings it in. Then the pallet jack does the precise work — moving each stack into place so nothing blocks fans, water, or walkways.
Barn’s cleared. Path’s open. 15 bales incoming.

Now open: One long-term, premium care spot (St George, UT)

We built Horse Haven Ranch one horse at a time.

Five years ago this was a promise: a private, gated barn in St. George where a horse is not a stall number. Travelers, show horses, retirees, and the ones who needed extra time to feel like themselves again have come through these doors. More than 200 of them. We still get the messages after they leave.

This is a quiet barn. Relaxed energy. Our horses are laid-back, calm, and easy in their bodies — and we keep it that way on purpose.

True premium full care here means four measured feeds a day and stalls reset at least three times. Hay is weighed so the ration is honest. If your horse is on supplements, we prepare them the way that horse likes them — weighed, soaked, temperature and consistency right. Mane and tail products are provided. We groom, pick hooves, and put hoof dressing on so feet stay fresh in our desert. Indoor wash rack with hot and cold soft water. When something extra is needed, we do it.

We live here. When your horse eats, we see it. When something is off at 10 p.m., we are already in the aisle — and you get a photo. You get the real story of their day. Stalls, runs, water, blankets, feet, attitude — we are watching all of it.

A private barn. Owner-run. Climate-controlled stalls, attached runs, orthopedic floors, and tested low-sugar / low-starch hay when they need it. When it is right for that horse, they join our little herd for natural grooming and company.

We have walked recovery with short-term and long-term horses — rehab, metabolic, hoof, and seniors — including our own rescues and a super-senior. That is why this opening is rare. We only take what we can love well.

$1,000/month with premium tested hay — care is included
$800/month if you bring the hay

You cover only the cost of your horse’s supplements and medicines, plus vet and farrier. Everything else we listed is part of board.

Return client. New horse. Same peace of mind. 🐴💛

Ricky Bobby spent the night on our orthopedic indoor floors and stretched out in the outdoor run. He came alone — our ponies were on the property, and so was another client horse — but never right next to him. We don’t put client horses next to each other. Ever. ✨

Look at the round-pen photo. See the truck in the background? That’s where his owner stayed. 🛻 The suite was rented that night too. Those two windows in front of his head? That’s the suite. That’s how close you can be. 🏡

We still have a few openings this month. October is getting tight — snow’s starting up north and everyone’s heading south. ❄️➡️☀️

We’re a small, quiet facility on purpose. Limited space is how we keep every stay exceptional.
