Blue Line Hockey Development is excited to have Coach Danny "Vandy" Vanderwiel back for his second summer on our coaching staff!
Coach Danny brings a wealth of experience from every level of the game. As a player, he competed in the OHL with the Plymouth Whalers, developing the toughness, work ethic, and hockey knowledge that have defined his career. Since then, he has built an impressive coaching resume, including time with the Metro Jets junior program, where he helped develop and mentor aspiring junior and collegiate players. He has also been involved with professional hockey through the Motor City Rockers, further expanding his knowledge of player development and advancement.
Coach Danny’s ability to teach the details of the game, connect with athletes, and create a positive learning environment has made him a favorite among Blue Line Hockey Development players and families. His passion for helping athletes improve both on and off the ice continues to make a lasting impact.
We’re thrilled to have Coach Danny back on the ice this summer helping the next generation of players reach their potential!
