Joe and his son Riley flew into town to get Riley his first musky. The first day was a casting trip and Joe was able to connect with a nice musky. Riley had to settle with a pike. The next day I had the opportunity to take them both out trolling. After making a change in location we immediately started catching fish and Riley accomplished his quest. Just when the action seemed to slow down a little we had a big bite on a 7.5" "GLA" MadTad from Fins and Grins Handcrafted Lures That bite took the trip from mission accomplished to Riley scoring with a very thick true trophy musky over 51". We ended the trip landing 10 muskys on Tads & Pikers. Riley fought 8 of those muskys himself just like a pro. Long read but it's trips like this one that mean alot to me.
