NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2026–2027 SUTTER AREA LITTLE LEAGUE BOARD!
Want to get more involved with Sutter Area Little League? We’re now accepting nominations for our 2026–2027 Board of Directors!
You may nominate yourself or someone else for any board position.
-Nominations are open for 2 weeks
-Voting will take place September 13, 2026, at 6:30pm

GENERAL ELECTION MEETING
All Regular Members are invited to attend the General Election Meeting.
A Regular Member is any parent, coach, or umpire who has completed a Live Scan and background check.
BOARD POSITIONS & DESCRIPTIONS
President
• Oversees the overall operations of the league
• Maintains communication between District 2 and SALL
• Attends monthly President and SALL Board meetings
Vice President of Baseball & Vice President of Softball
• Perform the duties of the President in their absence
• Have all powers of the President when acting in that role
Secretary
• Records league activities and meeting minutes
• Maintains league files and prepares meeting agendas
Treasurer
• Prepares the annual financial report and budget
• Tracks all league income and expenses
• Ensures accurate and transparent financial management
Player Agents – Baseball & Softball
• Handle registration, in-person sign-ups, and evaluations
• Form teams and coordinate drafts
• Manage tournament paperwork
• Assist with player-related issues
Safety Officer
• Promotes safety through education and awareness
• Helps ensure fields and equipment are safe
Field Maintenance
• Maintains and repairs fields, buildings, and grounds
• Helps ensure league facilities are safe and functional
Umpire in Chief
• Coordinates and schedules umpires for upper divisions
• Attends the District 2 clinic and hosts a local clinic
• Communicates with managers and umpires
Scheduler
• Creates game schedules for all divisions
• Manages practice schedules and field availability
Snack Bar Coordinators
• Run all aspects of the snack bar
• Organize and maintain volunteer schedules
Fundraiser Coordinator
• Organizes the annual fundraiser dinner
• Coordinates additional league fundraising efforts
Sponsorship Coordinator
• Secures team and field sponsors from local businesses
• Coordinates sponsor banners and field placement
Information Officer
• Manages social media and all league communications
• Sends bulk emails and keeps the website updated
Equipment Officer
• Distributes and collects team equipment
• Orders and maintains league gear and equipment

Every board member is required to complete 14 board shifts throughout the Spring season.
