You don’t need to spend the rest of your life white-knuckling your way through cravings, hunger, restaurants, vacations, and weekends.

Because if more discipline was the answer, you would’ve been free years ago.

For a long time, I thought I was giving myself permission to eat the foods I craved.

I just didn’t realize that permission was still coming with terms and conditions attached.

Because there’s a big difference between “you’re allowed to have it” and actually feeling safe having it.

I thought my only option left was to “just love my body.”

Because I had already done everything else.

I had already tried losing more weight.

- flattening my stomach w/ a waist trainer
- shrinking my legs with b***y bands
- widdling down what I was “allowed” to eat

And when none of it was working anymore, I backed myself into a corner of:

“okay well I guess this is just what you look like, so you need to learn to love it.”

But it made everything worse

Because I wasn’t actually letting go.

I was still checking my stomach in car windows

- > taking 300 photos to reluctantly post 2
- > sucking in or covering up

I just started calling it “body positivity” instead of insecurity.

And the shift that actually has me -25lbs was when my body stopped being the center of my brain every second of the day.

Because when food, weight, and your body stop feeling like a constant emergency… you finally have space to build consistency.

You stop swinging between restriction and “f**k it”

You stop binge eating every time you feel uncomfortable in your body.

You stop trying to punish yourself into confidence.

And that’s when your body finally starts feeling safe enough to change.
