Congrats to Jenna, Sara, Uriel, Vic, and Wesley for their efforts at the Fox River Throwdown last weekend!

Jenna earned the top spot in the RX women division, and Sara was on the podium in third for intermediate.

Uriel and Vic finished first and third, respectively, in intermediate men and Wesley just missed the podium.

We're hiring! And not just anyone.

We're looking for a general manager to join the CrossFit Roselle team.

Someone who coaches, connects, leads, and takes ownership without waiting to be asked.

This is a full-time, in-person role. You'll coach classes, run no-sweat intros, build a PT roster, create content, plan events, and help keep the whole operation running smoothly.

If you love people, love coaching, and want to actually matter to a gym, this is the role.

We're more than a place to work out.
We show up for our community.

Erin lifts the Christmas decorations now. Matt stopped dreading lawn mowing. Seth gets on the floor with his kids.

That's what consistent strength training does.

We also sponsor the local swim team, collect food for the Roselle Food Pantry, and last week we stood in front of a room full of junior high students and asked them to do a squat.

This morning's class included athletes who are 61, 60, 51, 47, 45, 43, 42, and 35 years old. And - full disclosure 🤣 - a 19-year-old drop-in whose age was omitted to make the point. 😂

Mother’s Day is lovely.

And then Monday hits.

Kid practices.
Work.
Dinner.
Laundry.
A sink full of dishes and somehow nothing thawed for dinner.

One of our mommas said something during a goal review that perfectly summed up what so many moms feel:

“I do feel better when things are clean and organized, but I don’t feel better when I’m not working out.”

🤯

Because the work will be there whether you work out or not.

The question is who is showing up to do it:
The exhausted version of you?
Or the stronger, calmer, more patient version?

As a mom of 2 and business owner, whose co-owner husband has a full-time in-office job as well, I can confidently say this:
Life does not magically calm down.

So stop waiting for the perfect week.
Start with the real one.
