A Design Team formed by the Students at Missouri S&T

The team is here for willing students who desire to apply knowledge from their classes into practical application by designing, building and competitively race an electric vehicle in Formula SAE Electric.

A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to showcase our car at Minerama!

This was a great way for the team to talk to new members, and give them an idea of what we do as a team.

Following Minerama, the team gathered to compete in the 10th Annual Design Center Kickball Tournament.

We were able to enjoy great food, as well as friendly competition throughout the afternoon, and it turned our to be an overall great day.

We are coming for that trophy next year though...

Last week, Missouri S&T hosted its biannual career fair, where members of the team were able to connect with over 200 companies, talk to employers across the multiple engineering industry's and explore opportunities to take the experience they gained on the team into their future careers.

We can't wait to see where everyone ends up this summer!

Join us for our first General Body Meeting tomorrow (Aug 27) at 6:00pm in Comp. Sci. 120!

Mechanical, Electrical, and Business Leads and Officers will be present to introduce themselves, and answer any questions about their sub-teams and projects.

A few weeks ago, we traveled to the 2026 Formula SAE EV Competition in Brooklyn, Michigan, and put our car and the hard work we put in over the past year to the test against over 100 universities from around the world!

Our combined results placed us (58th) overall. We are especially proud to have placed well in events like Cost (30th), Acceleration (28th), Autocross (32nd), and Skidpad (34th).

We are so proud of the team and all the effort put into our car this year. A special thank you to our alumni, advisors, friends, family, and especially our sponsors, who have supported us throughout the year.

Every success, challenge, and lesson we learned throughout the week will carry forward as we begin developing our 2027 car and gain valuable experience along the way.

Finally posting our competition recap! We are so proud of all the progress we have made as a team this year. We were able to compete in every dynamic event! Despite all the long nights, struggles, and having to rebuild our entire battery at competition, we were still able to accomplish so much! Although we did not get a chance to completely finish endurance this team is proud and ready for the next season!
