Welcome Brian Sackinsky, Director of Pitching! 🔥
Brian is a former Major League pitcher, Stanford University standout, and baseball coach with more than 20 years of experience developing young athletes.
Brian pitched at Stanford from 1990–1992, helping the Cardinal reach the College World Series before being selected in the 2nd round of the 1992 MLB Draft by the Baltimore Orioles. He reached the Major Leagues with Baltimore in 1996.
A father of five and current pitching coach at Rocklin High School, Brian is passionate about helping young athletes grow through the game.
At D-BAT Rocklin, our philosophy is simple: develop the person first and the pitcher second. We believe in teaching athletes to attack the strike zone, compete with confidence, prepare the right way, and understand that failure is feedback—not failure.
Our goal is bigger than developing better pitchers. It’s about developing confident, disciplined athletes who understand the importance of process over results and carry those lessons with them both on and off the field.
Brian’s experience and approach align perfectly with what we believe in at D-BAT Rocklin, and we’re excited to have him leading our pitching development.
