What a ride it’s been!!


As most of you know I’ve been trying out of for almost 5 years now and I can’t say thank you enough for all the memories over these last 5 years. They provided an environment for me to grow and pursue my dream to the fullest. Now my time has come and it’s time to start a new adventure. Thank you to all those who trusted me with their training. 215 lbs (+10lbs)

I need a protein shake as that lift completely fried my central nervous system🫠

Overall happy to see growth even though I originally thought I’d be trying to stretch 225 into multiple reps now that we are in May. Is what it is🤷🏼‍♂️

Old PR: 200

2 weeks of form work and starting to add in the overload principle and already adding on weight to my max. Definitely could’ve hit another 5 pounds on top of that. Closing in on 225 fast. Maybe April 1st🤔

Incorporating fitness into your lifestyle requires you to do things you actually enjoy doing. That can be one of the many forms of weightlifting, running, walking with friends, jumping rope, hiking, etc. I personally just enjoy picking up weights and putting them up over my head😊

Been working my cleans lately and hit a 15lb PR today. And the ugliest lifting face🤷🏼‍♂️

Why you should be taping your lifts.


I’ve been staring at this PR (365) attempt for over a week now. This was a 20 lb gain for my time at Flex after I already hit a 10 lb PR (355) the set before. I honestly feel like I should have hit this attempt but I panicked and you’ll see my head shift before my right side collapses. Without video taping this I would’ve just chalked this up as a fail and try again in a month or 3. But because of the video I know I need to work on the following:
-Staying locked into the lift and keep my head in line
-My right leg abductor needs some strengthening
-A little bit of core work won’t hurt
-Definitely need to do some conditioning


Already deloading and working on form this week and then diving back into strength over the next 12 weeks and test again… maybe 400🤔
