The USPA Ted Strong Award for Extraordinary Sportsmanship is an award given to individuals or teams who demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship at a USPA National Skydiving Championship. Established in 2012 to honor the late Ted Strong, a pioneer in the sport, the award is presented when the actions of a competitor warrant it. It is awarded by the unanimous agreement of the Meet Director, Chief Judge, and USPA Controller or the USPA Competition Committee.

Patrick Kessler has been presented with this prestigious award.
