Last hitting clinic of 2025 and it was a good one. Focused on reps before some of the first tournaments of the New Year, these college athletes all the way down to 13 year olds were impressive. We did it all, comfort zones to being uncomfortable, in and out of system, tempos, timing, all positions and IQ. Coach Alfie loves what he does and it’s because of the players. Real, courageous and impactful! Last nights Vortex FCA Night was amazing. Our young story tellers spoke from the heart sharing stories from their own experiences and the Bible, not only resonating with the youth but also the adults in the room. Riley thank you for leading the way with your contagious energy, Sophia, Emily, Kenzie, Georgia Mae and Olivia, thank you for standing in front of an audience and being vulnerable. It was beautiful! Thank you Paul for offering the facility, thank you to Britt and Julia for touching our ears and hearts with great worship! And thank you to the athletes, coaches and families who came out to support and listen. We are already looking forward to the next FCA Night!!! dodd

Tonight’s the night! Please come worship with us, hear some of our area athletes share their stories of faith over fear in sports, sip on some chocolate or coffee and pray. Bring your friends, family and teams. Wear your ugliest or most festive Christmas gear. We have surrounding bleacher seating, 40 chairs set up and plenty of space for you to bring your own comfy chairs. We would love to see you. 7 PM at the Vortex Volleyball Center. dodd

It’s official! We just got the keys to facility #2, Vortex’s Lab “where elite volleyball players are made” will be up and ready to go in about a week! The new pole holes are being drilled as we type and the new Versacourts are in ready to be assembled! Merry Christmas!!!! dodd
