We received some bad news this past weekend, on the Cruel Intentions Super Farm.
After pulling the head, to inspect the rings, Dr. Pat Jenuwine found a crack in the cylinder wall.
The Cruel Intentions Super Farm, will be shut down for the rest of the year. We will not be going to Bowling Green, or our hometown pull in Armada.
We do have some good news though. After countless hours of Nick calling around and looking for a block, just like ours, he found one in Ohio. Yesterday, I drove down to Ohio and picked it up, so now it can be sent out and machined to the correct specs and then the engine can be put back together!
Hopefully, we can get it back in time, so we can do some indoor pulls this winter!!

Today Charlie and I, took a quick trip, down to Salenbien Performance. We were able to see the Cruel Intentions on the dyno and watch the numbers, being put out. We learned we have 2 issues with the Cruel Intentions and why we lost horsepower and torque, the last 4 pulls. Both issues, should be taken care of next week, by two of the best Drs, in Ryan and Pat. They will dyno the tractor one more time, after the 2 fixes are made. We are all very optimistic, we will be back where we were, the start of the season, in horsepower and torque. If everything checks out perfect, the Cruel Intentions should be back on the track for Bowling Green and our hometown pull in Armada, MI.

This past weekend, in Kentucky, the Cruel Intentions finished 9th out of the 18 super farms in the class, on Friday night.
On Saturday night, the Cruel Intentions, had a tougher time getting down the track and finished 14th out of 17.
Once home, the team inspected the tractor and found some metal shavings in a few areas, where there shouldnt be metal shavings. So it was split in half and taken down to Salenbiens, for the Doctors to give us a prognosis on how the Cruel Intentions will be.
We will not be going to Iowa this weekend.
We are hoping it won’t be anything serious and we will be on the track in a week or so.
