An End of an Era on M-46 🎣🇺🇸
Hey everyone, Nathan here. As many of you know, I’ve been helping Tim out around the shop for years. Today, I’m sharing some bittersweet news with our fishing community on his behalf.
M-46 Bait and Tackle will be permanently closing its doors, as Tim is officially hanging up his net and heading into a much needed retirement.
For years, Tim has been a staple of the early mornings for so many local anglers the friendly face behind the counter making sure everyone was rigged up and ready for the water.
More than just running a bait shop, he’s been a true friend to this community. Beyond his dedication to the shop, Tim is a Vietnam era veteran. His service to our country and his bond with the folks around here is something we all deeply respect.
Due to serious health challenges, Tim has made the difficult decision to step away so he can focus entirely on his rest, recovery, and his family. While it’s incredibly tough to see such a beloved local spot close down, his well being absolutely comes first.
Even though the shop doors are closing, I will still be a part of Tim’s life and checking in on him regularly. I know how much this community cares about him, so I will continue to use this page to post updates on how he’s doing and keep everyone in the loop.
Please join in sending Tim all the positive thoughts, prayers, and profound gratitude for everything he’s done. We will all miss the shop, but we are wishing him nothing but peace, comfort, and the absolute best in his well deserved retirement.
Thank you for your service, Tim. And thank you for everything. Tight lines always. 💙🐟
