Music at Meadow Links - 2025 SEASON FINALE!

The Contrasonics, Monday, August 26, 7:00 p.m., in our pavilion.

The Contrasonics (Erik House, John Potocnik, Kathy Shimberg) close our 2025 season with old-time and roots music that resonates through the hills in our pavilion’s beautiful natural acoustics. Their tunes, songs and stories connect past and present — traditions handed down through centuries alongside fresh originals in the same spirit. Instruments may include fiddles, guitar, piano, harmonica, lap dulcimer, banjo & concertina, and rich solo and three-part vocals. Bring friends, family, visitors and neighbors to gather with us one last time this summer to celebrate community and music together.

Free Admission · Family friendly · Pet-friendly · Always Rain or shine.

Kathy Shimberg grew up playing piano by ear, later immersed herself in classical and traditional folk music, and pursued graduate study in American Folk Culture. A lifelong contradancer, caller, and multi-instrumentalist, she has shared the joy of dance music for more than 65 years.

Erik House has been fiddling for more than 50 years, performing old-time, bluegrass, and contradance music, often alongside longtime partners Kathy Shimberg and John Potocnik.

John Potocnik, a fiddler rooted in Otsego County for five decades, co-founded the Catskill Puppet Theater, touring nationally for over 40 years, and holds a master’s degree in American Folk Culture.

Performances are 75 minutes in the Meadow Links Golf Course pavilion, 476 County Road 27 (Allen Lake Rd.), Richfield Springs.

Music at Meadow Links Monday, August 4th, at 7 p.m.

Get ready for a fresh take on the jazz trio. TRIO 315 brings together the genre-crossing talents of pianist Joe Pietra, bassist Mario Pietra, and drummer Byron Kidd Cage for an evening that blends contemporary jazz with surprising turns into rock, pop, and original compositions.

Rooted in Upstate New York and steeped in deep musical experience, this ensemble moves fluidly between the elegance of the Great American Songbook and the unexpected grooves of Radiohead, Nirvana, Lady Gaga, and The Beatles—reimagined through bold improvisation and dynamic interplay. Together, TRIO 315 crafts performances that are both sophisticated and wildly accessible—swinging, soulful, and surprising.

Family-friendly. Pet-friendly. Always rain or shine.
