Blue Hills Tae Kwon Do

Blue Hills Tae Kwon Do Classes are open to both children and adults. When you have demonstrated that you have mastered these skills, you will test for your next belt color.

Blue Hills Tae Kwon Do is a martial arts school that focuses on self-defense, physical fitness, and self-discipline through Taekwondo (kicking and punching) and Hapkido (joint locks, sweeps, and throws). We train individuals ages 5 through adult in Tae Kwon Do, and incorporate self defense techniques, Hapkido (emphasizes joint locks, sweeps, and throws), and competition training. All students star

t as a white belt learning a series of patterns and movements, as well as self defense techniques. You will continue building on these movements and patterns as you test and receive each belt promotion. In addition to classroom training, you have the opportunity to attend camp, and to participate in tournaments and
community events. Classes are taught by Master Nick Buck:
4th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do
2nd Dan Black Belt in Hapkido
1st Dan Black Belt in Kumdo

Good evening everyone! Blue Hills Tae Kwon Do will be participating in the Aquafest Parade next Sunday. If there are any parents who would like to volunteer to walk with us we could use a couple of people to manage drinks for the students, pull the wagon with the boards in it, or to hand out goodies. I would also appreciate it if parents could confirm who will be participating prior to the parade.

⚠️ Please avoid the Hammond Ave entrance due to the Lions Pancake Breakfast.

⭐️ Students can be picked up at the Bethany Lutheran Church parking lot.

☔ In case of rain or thunderstorms, cancellation updates will be posted on the page of the Rice Lake Main Street Association by 10:00 AM Sunday.

Starting in June our class schedule is going to change. Classes will continue to be on Mondays and Wednesdays, but ages 5-9 will be from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and ages 10 and up will be from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Have a great weekend!
