The JPB Racing Team would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and racing family of Alan Bare.

Although we aren't racing at Seekonk Speedway every week this season, Seekonk will always be home to us, and the people in those pits will always be family. Racing has a unique way of bringing people together. We spend countless nights, weekends, victories, disappointments, and memories side by side, and those relationships become much more than just friendships.

Alan was one of those people who helped make the racing community special. Whether he was working on a truck, helping another team, or simply sharing a conversation in the pit area, he was part of the fabric that makes short track racing what it is.

Our hearts are with Alan's family, his teammates, and everyone at Seekonk Speedway during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Alan. Your racing family will never forget you. 🏁💙

🏁 Star Speedway Race Recap 🏁

What could have been…

Jacob "Rowdy" Burns and the JPB Racing Team unloaded with speed right out of the box at Star Speedway for the Coastal Clash 150. Starting 15th in a stacked Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour field, Rowdy was on the move early and worked his way up to 11th by lap 40.

Unfortunately, our day took a turn when we were collected in an incident involving another competitor. After that, the handling went away, and we spent the remainder of the race battling a car that just wasn't the same.

When the crew got the car back to the pits, we discovered the right rear spring had come out during the incident, explaining the handling issues we fought for the rest of the race.

While the finishing result wasn't what we hoped for, there are still plenty of positives to take away. The speed was there, the team continues to improve every week, and Rowdy proved once again that he can race his way forward against some of the toughest competition in the Northeast.

A huge thank you to our crew for all their hard work, our sponsors for their continued support, and our family, friends, and fans who make this possible every week.
We'll regroup, learn from it, and get ready for the next one.
