This event is held in honor of Corporal Matthew Tyler Snook, a member of the Delaware State Police who was killed in the line of duty. Corporal Snook leaves behind a young family, including a 1‑year‑old daughter.

The goal of this event is to bring our community together to show our support in a meaningful way. This is not a commercial competition or promotional fundraiser. It is a community honor event centered on service, unity, and support.

No funds are collected or handled by Rehoboth Beach Barbell Club. 100% of donations go directly to the family.

Pierce just competed in his first ever powerlifting meet at just 9 years old weighing only 62lbs (the youngest and lightest category)

All of his final lifts broke the state records and were all PRs for him and as you can see he moves them INCREDIBLY well!

Pierce has been coming into the gym with his parents 3 days a week, for an hour before school, for about a year now. He works incredibly hard and is extremely focused routinely coming into the gym with a goal and he doing everything it takes to accomplish that goal!

I couldn't be more proud of him and I can't wait to see what he sets out to dominate next!
