Looking for something fun to do this week?

The Redding Sports Park's four collegiate-caliber sand volleyball courts are open for drop-in play when not in use for leagues, tournaments, or special events. Whether you're meeting up with friends for a casual game, getting in a workout, or just want to enjoy some time outside, our courts are ready for you.

Drop-in play is first-come, first-served, so bring your own volleyball and enjoy one of the North State's premier sand volleyball facilities.

Check the court schedule before you head out to see when courts are available and be sure to grab a bite at The Black Sheep Pub while you're there!

Batting Cages Now Open!

The wait is over—the Redding Sports Park Batting Cages are officially open! Perfect for baseball and softball players looking to get in extra swings, the cages operate on a simple token system and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hours
Monday-Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Token Pricing
$2 = 1 Token (20 pitches)
$10 = 6 Tokens
$25 = 15 Tokens

A special thank you to the Redding Parks and Trails Foundation for helping fund the completion of the batting cages and token system. Their investment is helping create more affordable recreation opportunities for our community.

New Sand Volleyball Leagues Are Coming to Redding Sports Park!

Grab your friends, form a team, and get ready to hit the sand this summer!

Adult Sand Volleyball League:
- Thursday Nights – Starting June 25
- Men's, Women's & Coed Divisions
- 4v4 format (rosters may include up to 6 players for substitutes)
- $250 per team

Youth/Teen Coed Sand Volleyball League:
- Monday Nights – Starting June 22
- Ages 12-15
- $75 per player

Whether you're looking for friendly competition, a fun way to stay active, or a chance to enjoy summer evenings with friends, these leagues are a great opportunity to get involved.
