A Time To Dance There is a time for everything… A Time To Dance
Ecc 3:4 Our goal is to bring quality dance to Richland Parish, West Carroll Parish, and Morehouse Parish.

We believe dancers should be trained in technique as well as performance. Our classes are designed to provide uplifting instruction for our students as well as instilling in them a love for the art of dance. We believe in helping dancers reach their individual goals and to see the progress made year to year from the dancers. Our studio is complete with a viewing room where parents are allowed to w

atch the progress of their dancer in class. The first half of the season is based solely on technique with the second half based on perfecting our recital dances and continuing to perfect our technique. We are very glad to share our passion with you. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your dream.

Alumni shoutout for our Marlee Harper! Marlee is attending Texas Christian’s University and majoring in dance for her BFA! She also received a scholarship of over $40,000!!!!! We have had the honor of teaching her since she was 8 years old! To watch such a magnificent dancer blossom under your tutelage and to have a front row seat to her furthering her career is something all dance teachers dream of. Marlee has been LOYAL to ATTD, studying each summer at prestigious intensives, and always coming home to her studio. Here is what she has to say to her fans:

“I’ve been dancing since i was 5 years old and I’ve been with ATTD since i was 8 years old. My favorite role I’ve performed would either be the lead in Carol of the Bells or the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker. To my team, I’ve been dancing with most of these girls since i was 8 thank you so much for making every rehearsal, long day, and performance so very memorable and so much fun. I will forever cherish every memory i have made with this team and group of girls. and for Mrs. Becka Jo, thank you for every ounce of encouragement, advice, and positive words you have instilled in us and in me, thank you for everything you’ve done for me as a person and as a dancer. To my mama, thank you for everything you’ve done for me to help me in every way possible and for always doing everything you can to help me in anyway possible with encouraging words hugs on long days and rides to anywhere i need to be thank you for everything!

We are so proud of our girl, and can’t wait to see what her future holds! We love you Marlee Raye!

As we enter into our new season and kick off our Competition team workshop, we would like to announce our motto for the year. We are also calling our comp teams FOCUS teams this season to keep the slogan fresh in our minds. Success has many forms, from the tiny dancer who was nervous to leave Mom for class and is now running in, the new dancer learning all they can and playing catch up, the advanced dancer nailing a new skill, to alumni majoring in dance programs and trainee programs. We want to FOCUS on every achievement, big or small.
