Our next competition dancer is Daisie!!!

Daisie has been dancing since she was little but this is her second year on the competition team!

Her favorite thing is dancing with her teammates! She is most excited to preform on stage and to give it her 100% best!!

Domari has been dancing for 2 years but this is her first year on the competition team!

Her favorite thing about dance is how she gets to learn so many new things.

This year she is looking forward to dancing with her dance sister Amelia!

Charlotte has been in dance for 2 full years! This is her first year on the competition team

Charlotte says she loves to dance and move, and help others. She also loves to perform on stage, and is looking forward to being able to do a solo someday!!

ITS TIME TO MEET THE MEMBERS OF OUR COMPETITION TEAM!! 💜

First up is Hazel.

This is her third season dancing with Celebration Dance. She began when she was 17 months when she first started!

Favorite thing about dance— I like to dance on the stage in a costume.

What she is most excited about with the competition team- Dancing with all the big girls!

This was Eleanor’s second Intensive she has gone to - last year with friends her age, but this time she walked into the classroom alone. A little timid but when the music started she but all of her energy into learning and dancing.

We have been working on Improv and just letting go and dancing from your heart. At the end of the day all the dancers showed what they had learned. And I watched this young lady initially freeze when they were given time to improv. She then looked around and threw up this amazing kick and just let go and danced.

I stood there with a huge smile on my face and crying in pure joy and pride in her. Those little moments are what it’s all about. Dance isn’t just dance. It’s learning confidence. Learning to keep moving through difficult things until you get what you had been working for. It’s finding the joy in the process. It’s learning to overcome fears and just let go and enjoy the moment.

So excited to see how she grows this competition season! ❤️💜❤️💜

After taking pictures outside, our competition dancers moved inside moving and grooving to warm up before learning more choreography

When you have littles on your competition team and are outdoors… we dig in the dirt after our pictures have been taken. I love watching everyone interacting and talking to each other, parents and dancers.
